You will be part of a team dedicated to contributing to increased development of renewable energy, principally in hydropower. We perform studies, design and engineering and we follow up construction work on a number of hydropower projects every day around the world.

You will participate in projects and solve tasks related to civil engineering and design of hydropower and dam structures. You will solve technical problems:
  • Carry out calculations
  • Draft and make 3D-models
  • Perform simulations under supervision of our senior civil engineers

You will take part in discussion with clients, other stakeholders, colleagues and contractors to achieve and enable good and sustainable solutions to the projects.

Desired qualifications

  • A Level BBCor
  • BTEC National Diploma DDMor
  • Access to Engineering qualifications with 15 Distinctions and 30 Merits including Maths and Physical Science creditor
  • Equivalent level 3 qualifications worth 128 UCAS points
  • Level 3 qualifications must include maths and physics
  • Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above)
  • We welcome qualifications from around the world. English language qualifications for international students: IELTS score of 6.0orCambridge Proficiency or Advanced Grade C

Things to consider

At the workplace you will have a dedicated mentor that you will meet to follow up your training and progression on a regular basis. You will be involved in projects where different aspects of civil engineering will be highlighted to ensure you utilise the academic training you are getting as well as providing you with further training in applicable areas. You will also receive necessary training in computer tools and software that is relevant to do the job. We will ensure you get to do field visits and participate in site supervision, as training in these areas are essential for a civil engineer.
