Day to day duties will include:
  • Communicating with and resolving supplier queries
  • Purchase ledger duties
  • Petty cash
  • Cash book postings and reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Preparing and chasing check runs
  • Journals
  • Prepayments and accruals
  • Credit cards

Desired skills

Essentials for the job:
  • Demonstrable experience of self-motivation when working to deadlines that require accuracy
  • Good IT skills - including Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Sage would be beneficial - Sage 500 would be excellent
  • Fantastic communication skills

Education/Experience/Skills:

Target Qualification: Support given to study towards Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification
  • Excel user to confident level
  • IT literate - MS Office packages (Word and Powerpoint)
  • Communication Skills - written & verbal
  • Problem Solving
