Minimum 5 GCSEs, A* to C or the new grades 4 -9, including Maths & English Language (or equivalent).
The equivalent of 3 A-levels (AS-Levels and BTECs can contribute) with at least one in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths) related subject.
If degree educated then a 2:1 degree or above in Maths, Sciences would be advantageous (though technology/computer science graduates are ineligible to apply due to Government funding regulations)
Demonstrable recent working knowledge of at least one modern programming language either through prior work experience or through your education studies or spare timeFuture prospects Upon completing the apprenticeship they may decide to continue to develop their career in software programming, QA, Automated Testing or other areas of Programming. Things to consider To be eligible for the apprenticeship you must ensure you meet the following criteria: The right to work in the United Kingdom Ability to speak and write English fluently Resident in an EU country for the past 3 years.
