After your Project Management apprenticeship progress into Project Management, Digital Transformation Manager, Business Development Lead, Programme Manager, Transformation Director and Process Transformation Director or other management roles within your field.
- Understanding of business goals
- Dentifying key opportunities for different teams
- Defining and implementing a planning process for all new projects
- Understand how to think about opportunities and articulate them in business terms
- Incorporate budget and resource into project plans
Project Management:
- Converting initial plans into measurable goals
- Tracking performance against project timelin
- Communicating with other teams to identify risks and provide progress updates
- Using tools to track your progress eg Trello
Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
- Are able to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically
- Can demonstrate an interest in project management
- Has completed a business admin apprenticeship or has substantial admin or events experience. You must be able to confidently articulate the transferable skills you gained
Personal qualities
- Proactive with a passion for keeping things in order
- Are enthusiastic, self-motivated and keen to achieve
- You will need to balance time in the office whilst studying
- Are outstanding at problem-solving and eager to work in a diverse team, sharing ideas with each other
Desired qualifications
- A levels A*-B or UCAS equivalent
- Five GCSE grades C - A* (or 4-9), including maths and English
- Level 3 qualification (BTEC, NVQ or equivalent)
- Ideal candidates would have 6+ months admin experience
