The Software Developer Apprentice is a new role and it is expected to grow as the Apprentice develops within the team. The end goal is to independently provide support on software to all users.

To be aSoftware Developer Apprentice you will need to be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs or equivalent(ideally A* - C) including maths and English.

Key duties:
- Linking code to the database/data sets
- Testing code and analysing results to correct errors found using either V-model manual testing and/or using unit testing
- Attend both in house and external training courses
- Attend Apprentice block release training
- Shadow IT staff both on site and on the support helpdesk
- To undertake all tasks accurately and within procedures and guidelines set out by the Bank
