Engineering Apprenticeship Programme 2019 - Lufthansa Technik
Our apprentices are here to shape their careers, as well as gain on-the-job experience. The scheme offers the training, guidance and support you need to develop valuable skills and establish yourself in your desired career.
During your Apprenticeship, you will attend college to study for a nationally-recognised qualification NVQ level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering. You may also be able to continue to study beyond your apprenticeship for more advanced qualifications.
You will need a minimum of 5 GCSE's Grades A–C /9-5 or the equivalent in Maths, English Language and Science
All our apprentices will get the opportunity to gain practical experience working alongside some of the most experienced and knowledgeable employees in our business. Apprentices in manufacturing experience a range of placements enabling them to learn the processes and skills that are essential for a career in Engineering.

Beyond your academic qualifications, we will be looking for evidence that you are interested and enthusiastic about developing a career within engineering. Make sure that your CV shows your Interest in engineering.
All our roles contain an element of working in a team and we are looking for candidates who can work well as part of a team and has passion into becoming leaders in the future. Your CV should also give examples of team working. You will be able to show in different ways: at school, with your family, in a sports team, at work or in voluntary organisations. It is important to highlight all your experiences and achievements you have attained throughout education or work.
