Vacancy description

As an Admin Assistant, you’ll be responsible for all administrative duties with a focus on supporting the Field team on the day to day running of that department.

This is a fast-paced, fun environment to work in and this role provides the opportunity to develop admin skills and gain some valuable market research/field management experience within the research industry.

We will provide full training on all elements of the role and help the candidate develop a full understanding of research. 

  • Communicating over the telephone with clients and colleagues
  • Use excellent customer service continuously
  • Organize and report data
  • Managing in house computer systems
  • Use a diary system
  • Sending and receiving faxes
  • Postal and stationery duties
  • Filing and maintaining internal documents
  • Store and retrieve information
  • Scanning documents

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft products (ie, Word/Excel) working within these packages daily
  • Strong IT and typing abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • Methodical and able to prioritize your own workload
  • Flexible and willing to work in a busy environment and the ability to take on a wide range of general tasks

Personal qualities

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required
  • Excellent and fluent written and spoken English
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Confident and affable
  • Please note a 3-month probationary period applies

Desired qualifications

  • A-C / 9-4 GCSE grades in maths and English (or the equivalent) are desirable for this role
