On a day to day basis, you will be working closely with our Survey Manager and Ops Manager to organise, set-up and analyse our surveys, providing reports for our client and workplace consultants. You will not only learn advanced data analysis techniques as part of your training course but will be encouraged to put that into practice helping us innovate and improve our data capture, data analysis and reporting techniques.
In addition, we will be providing additional training ourselves in computer-aided design and a proprietary survey system, to enable you to become a valuable member of our team right from the start.

Future prospects
After your Data Analysis Apprenticeship, you can progress into any Data Analyst, Data Scientist and Data engineer role. You'll have the skills to run insight analytical projects from beginning to end and work within a Data Analytics team.

In addition, we will be providing additional training ourselves in computer-aided design and a proprietary survey system, to enable you to become a valuable member of our team right from the start.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Support the Survey Manager and Ops Manager in the set-up of the new surveys in our proprietary systems
- To assist the survey team with the production of high-quality data reports for Clients
- Conducting on-site surveys if required
- Analysis of the survey data in Excel and PowerPivot and/or google sheets and possibly SSRS
- Creating and updating BI dashboards in PowerBI and/or similar products
- Creation of printed reports in PowerPoint
- Computer Aided Design (full training will be provided on AutoCAD, Accordant and DMS/LMS)
- Modification of existing space plans into AutoCAD
- Categorisation of survey data points in Accordant
- Survey and Software Development
- To take a major role in the development of our methods of data capture, data analysis and reporting; interfacing, alongside the CEO and Survey manager, with our external software developer.
- Developing the use of SQL to improve our data analysis and reporting.

- Educational certificates to demonstrate a good standard of English grammar and numeracy
- Effective oral and written communication skills necessary to meet the duties of the post
- Very computer literate with experience in MS Excel or Google Sheets
- Evidence of customer/client care skills
- A demonstrable ability to establish and sustain good working relationship within a team environment or the ability and initiative to work alone, to be motivated, honest and reliable
Personal qualities
- Has a real interest in working with in Data Analytics
- Enjoys working numbers and spreadsheets
- Is keen to learn and develop their skills both within and outside of the apprenticeship training
- The ability to develop new skills in Data Analytics and a willingness to learn about Programming

- Is a self-starter able to manage themselves when working on their own
- Flexible and able to adapt to the demands of the job, including travelling to client sites in the UK and abroad as needed
