Marketing Assistant Apprentice
We are part of YMCA England, a charity set up to help those in need. The company has now developed over the years to offer a range of activities and support structures. YMCA has recently re-branded itself to make it clearer what they offer. Not all YMCA centres offer the same range but chose to offer the area they are in the facilities it needs.
The 5 areas are: Support and Advice, Accommodation, Family Work, Health and Wellbeing, and Training and Education.
YMCA Maidstone Loose Sport and Community Centre departments are: Family Work, Health and Wellbeing, and Training and Education.
We are looking for a Marketing Apprentice – someone to develop campaigns, market activities and manage social media accounts.
This post will lead on our marketing activity:
Managing social media
Writing press releases
Working across 2 sites
Using graphic software
32 hours a week – flexible, to be discussed
Fantastic written and verbal communication
A-D Maths and English or equivalent
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
