Working week

  • Monday - Friday. Shift Basis between 8am - 6pm. Total hours per week: 37.50

Vacancy description

Duties to include:

  • Receiving patients consulting with members of the practice team
  • Be able to cover all reception duties as necessary
  • Process appointment requests from patients and for patients by telephone and in person
  • Deal with visits requests
  • To have a thorough knowledge of all practice procedures
  • To work in accordance with written protocols
  • Pulling/filing notes for surgeries and update as necessary
  • Reviewing, Scanning, Coding and Filing post into medical records
  • Email, Fax, and photocopy as requested
  • Handing completed repeat prescriptions to a patient and checking names and addresses
  • Process repeat prescription requests in accordance with practice guidelines
  • Process goods in manually and all associated admin
  • Process goods out manually and all associated admin
  • Comply with Falsified medicines directive guidelines
  • Accepting and preparing wholesale boxes(totes) for collection – Manual lifting required
  • Comply with Pharmacy and Wholesaling protocols

  • Grades 7-4/A-C in maths and English are desirable, however not essential
