Tasks may include:
  • Data preparation and checking for accuracy
  • Use spreadsheets and models to populate reports and presentations for clients
  • Technical support for the wider Wealth team
  • Systems development and testing
  • Appropriate use of IT to complete a wide range of tasks
  • Providing support for queries from clients, third parties and other business areas
  • Develop an understanding of hot topics which affect the industry
  • Study for professional exams
  • Completion of internal and external compliance documentation


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Proficient in all Microsoft office applications
  • Strong numeracy skills with the ability to analytically and logically apply numerical techniques to given requirements and understand basic actuarial principles and calculations


Personal qualities

  • Good communicator
  • Logical thinker with the ability to problem solve through a variety of techniques
  • Ability to get results and find solutions


Desired qualifications

  • 3 A Levels (or BTEC equivalent) at grade A*-C including one A level in a numerical subject such as mathematics, Economics or Business Studies
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and mathematics (minimum Grade 6/B)

By completing the Financial Services Professional Apprenticeship and gaining the APMI accreditation we are building our consultants of the future. You will have access to clients from day 1 across all services, a dedicated people manager to provide feedback to support your growth and continuous development and mentoring from senior colleagues to acquire key client management skills.
