Main role / Responsibilities: [will include but not be limited to]:
  • Provide first/second line support to the business, answering queries via email, phone or face to face
  • Aid in patch management and hardware/software/system maintenance and upgrade
  • Assist in the support and management of the company Office 365 environment
  • Update the asset register and record IT kit being deployed in the business
  • Follow the process for managing licensing and ensuring compliance is maintained
  • Gain a sound understanding Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adding new users to the domain, setting up email accounts, and business system accounts
  • Configuring new computers for use on the network/ decommissioning old kit
  • Take ownership of user IT and system training across the company offices and construction sites
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new systems and procedures
  • Source and procure IT expenditure as required

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
