Vacancy Description

Marketing:
  • Collate and maintain marketing data and PR materials to support team activities and developments
  • Undertake research and data collation as required and present in most appropriate format to support with reports
  • Manage/co-ordinate marketing projects as determined by the Marketing Manager
  • Assist with the fulfilment of any marketing brief, as determined by the Marketing Manager, specifically but not restricted to: draft preparation of copy, collation of materials, research, scheduling, reporting and all forms of correspondence internal and external
  • Fully participate in the administration, implementation and delivery of events
  • Manage content and distribution of information via social media and through mediums such as company newsletter
  • Proactively manage a diary of award entries, collating relevant information from all parties prior to submission
  • Prepare correspondence on behalf of the Marketing Manager to support her with her priorities
  • Actively promote company awards and achievements such as Investors in People Platinum award, Care awards, Positive CQC ratings, Sunday Times Top 100
  • Promote positive resident stories to enhance the reputation of the organisation
  • Proactively scan media sources for reference to PJ Care and keep clippings folder for PR purposes
  • Provide lead support to RM's across Peterborough and Milton Keynes on internal projects to enhance company-wide communication through marketing

General:
  • Keep in regular contact with all members of the team (both geographically and office based) to ensure an effective flow of communication. Support team members with diary management and meeting planning often with challenging schedules
  • Filter general information, queries, emails, phone calls and invitations by redirecting or progressing as appropriate. Deal with all enquiries in such a way as to positively promote PJ Care Ltd and maximise the potential for bed referrals
  • Facilitate and administer Marketing and Sales Team meetings and any other meeting as required by the team
  • Implement systems and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient running of the Marketing team
  • Assist with all aspects of conferences and exhibitions that have been approved. This may include working out of the office and overnight stays
  • To at all times, follow all PJ Care Ltd Policies and Procedures
  • Reasonable ad hoc responsibilities and tasks requested by the General Manager, Sales and Marketing

Desired skills

  • Expert IT skills including Microsoft office suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills. Ability to multi task and organise self and others in the context of numerous and sometimes conflicting deadlines and priorities, busy work periods and remote team members
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective information management and reporting skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-starter; confident and capable to work on own initiative and with limited supervision
  • Project Management
  • Ability to exercise discretion and diplomacy in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
  • Flexible to meet the demands of the business
  • Experience: Substantial and demonstrable experience in a sales administration and / or PA role in a pressurised environment
  • Experience of supporting staff who work remotely
  • Involvement in the production and planning of marketing collateral and activities
  • Managing and co-ordinating sales or marketing project projects

  • A quick thinker who can work in an extremely busy environment and maintain a professional approach
  • Ability to manage time and deal with unexpected challenges
  • Comfortable and competent to work effectively with remote team members


Desired qualifications

  • Experience: Experience of working in a healthcare setting
  • Previous experience of being part of a small team
  • Experience of event management and participation
