DJM Music’s online musical instrument store provides musical instruments and accessories to musicians and educational establishments.With a wide variety of products, DJM Music is one of the UK’s biggest retailers of online musical instruments.


Vacancy Description 
A great opportunity for someone with a keen interest in music and a talent for photography to support the marketing activity of this online retailer.

You will have responsibility for ensuring the product description engages with customers and therefore a good understanding and a keen interest in music would be a great advantage.

The main duties include:

Product photography 
Writing product descriptions 
Assisting with production of weekly online marketing newsletters 
Assisting with educational online marketing newsletters 
Posting blogs and helping with our social media presence 
Obtaining and uploading YouTube product guides on our website 
Assist advertising with google, producing banners, managing costs of advertising versus revenue it produces.

Skills Required
Be able to work as part of a team 
Photography and design skills 
Good working knowledge of social media and its uses 
Communications skills, both written and verbal Knowledge and understanding of musical instruments would be beneficial 
Able to use initiative with a good eye for detail

Adaptable to change Flexible and enthusiastic Want to make a difference and have input on building the business


Qualifications Required
GCSE grade A* – D inclusive in English and Maths or equivalents


Training Provided
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
