What you will do in your working day

As an apprentice data analyst you'll have the opportunity to work in different parts of the ombudsman service following the lifecycle of our data flow, and to be mentored by one of our experienced analysts. You'll be learning on the job whilst being given the opportunity to help with creating new application solutions for the organisation to use.

The training you will be getting

The Data Analyst Apprenticeship Level 4 programme combines high-quality classroom training with on-line learning, coaching and on-the-job experience to develop real world skills. Apprentices will be expected to attend classroom events at QA's flagship learning centre in St Katherine's Dock, London. The programme of learning includes: Introduction to Data; Data Structure and Databases using Python & SQL; Data Analysis & Compliance; Database Design, Data Architecture; and Intergration and Data Analysis Tools.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

At the end of the apprenticeship an apprentice can expect to achieve: The Data Analyst Level 4; BCS Level 4 Certificate in Data Analysis Tools; and the BCS Level 4 Certificate in Data Analysis. Progression could lead on to a permanent position and high level apprenticeship.
