This is an exciting opportunity to join a local and well established firm of independent financial advisers as an apprentice Paraplanner. You will join the current back office team which supports the financial advisers, assisting them with a range of technical and administrative tasks.

There is the potential for right candidate to ultimately progress to becoming a full financial adviser. The average earnings of a financial adviser in this region is £50,000 per annum OTE whilst a good paraplanner can command in the region of £20,000-£30,000 per annum.

As part of the role you will be expected to:
- Process and deliver suitability reports for advisors
- Learning and shadowing the financial planners to learn the financial planning process
- Administration duties around the financial planning process
- General day-to-day administration tasks such as filing and distributing the post and filing client documents
- Maintaining client information accurately on the firm's financial planning software
- Preparation for meetings
- Preparing reviews of investment portfolios
- Producing appropriate written correspondence to providers and clients.
- Obtaining relevant research relating to proposed advice
- Processing New Business
- Liaising with clients
- Supporting Financial Advisors and Paraplanners
