What can you expect?
  • Over a 2-year programme you will complete a fully approved CAT A1 residential training course at LRTT Ltd based at their training facility in Humberside and then go on to join our teams in Luton or Gatwick for on the job training to build your practical experience
  • You will be supported throughout the programme as you complete a City & Guilds 2675 Qualification in Aeronautical Engineering, combined with a Part-66 Category A1 modular course and an Extended NVQ3 in Aeronautical Engineering
  • Your passion will be turned into practical experience in an exciting live environment where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop all of the key skills required to start your career in aircraft engineering

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Personal qualities

A passion for engineering is a must and any experience with mechanical or electrical equipment would be great to see.

Desired qualifications

A minimum of five GCSEs (A-C9/4) or equivalent including English, maths and a Science subject; plus, a range of A 'Levels or equivalent qualifications, along with excellent interpersonal skills.

CRB check. Our Process: Telephone Interviews and Assessment Centres: completed by mid-September.

Future prospects

If you are successful and are offered a permanent role with easyJet at the end of the Apprenticeship Programme, you could be earning a package of up to £30,000 per annum with potential to earn more and develop your career.
