Reporting into the Performance & Insight Manager, the purpose of the role is to deliver insightful and actionable analysis of service performance from existing productivity data as well as external sources to enable data-driven decision making.

The primary function of this role is to develop and support the Productivity Managers and Operations Directors with productivity reporting and data analysis. Providing business defined analysis to the central operations managers to ensure data competence and confidence. You will have a true passion for problem solving and data analysis.

This role combines technical ability in data manipulation, report development and analytical techniques with communication of findings and insights to key stakeholders, along with creative flair for visualising and presenting data in a meaningful way.

You will be tasked with identifying opportunities for deeper analysis, producing reports and insight and really using data to drive area productivity improvement.

Ensuring that the data analysis meets the agreed individual business requirements and expectations and is delivered in a timely manner with measurable outputs.

You will be tasked with reviewing new data and operational innovations externally to ensure that Rentokil Initial is leading the way in operational excellence.

The role is primarily office based with some UK travel which may require overnight stays.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and results driven. Strong problem solving and logical thinking skills are essential for this role.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
  • Work with business Productivity Managers to identify and manage data insight projects
  • Work with Productivity Managers to understand the key metrics that drive the business.
  • Explore and analyse any and all available data to influence future projects and initiatives.
  • Support standardisation of reporting across all businesses where possible.
  • Identify new sources of data both internally and externally that would allow us to drive our business model forward at a faster pace.
  • Model data and metadata to support ad-hoc and prebuilt tracking and reporting tools.
  • Exploration of new initiatives relating to data and insight.
  • Facilitate decision making by identifying and explaining key drivers of business performance.

Desired qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and maths)
