Duties include:
  • You'll be responsible for processing large and interesting data sets using SQL, which you will present back to key stakeholders.
  • You will interact and communicate with other areas of the business to understand their requirements and interpret them from a technical perspective.
  • You'll be responsible for building and owning key data sets to empower analysis to better understand trends, performance bottlenecks and guide business decisions.
  • You'll also produce key business reports and KPIs in order to drive insight to allow business areas to make important decisions.
  • You'll need to be proactive rather than reactive in identifying potential data issues.
  • You're an excellent communicator both verbally and written with an ability to articulate your ideas with all levels in the organisation (operational, business and executive),
  • You'll also need to have experience of analysing numbers and KPI's in an operational environment

Core Skills:

To excel in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Proficiencywith SQL with an understanding of relational databases
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and data integrity
  • Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage own workload, priorities and deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience of SAS and/or R would be beneficial

  • Experience within a similar data analysis role (Desired but not essential)
  • IT Literate including an excellent working knowledge of MS Office is essential, in particular MS Excel.

Desired qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and maths)
