This new role has been introduced for System quality checking. You will work very closely with the Technical Director based in Manchester and be responsible and involved in most of the systems lifecycle from early Beta Testing to live release of new system features, new test developments and much more to enhance Skillsarena's quality of service, business credibility and competitive advantage through the products it provides.

This exciting opportunity needs a self-motivated, methodical individual with a high attention to detail. You will be highly confident, clear and concise on the phone with a can-do support attitude. You will have good written communication and logical skills, be resourceful and be comfortable with developing and following a process. You must be able to appreciate urgency, work at pace and in a changing environment reacting to customer's needs. With a good sense of humour and strong work ethic, you will enjoy a fun but professional work environment and making a difference being part of a supportive team.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Beta Tester - Support the testing process (break it) by working closely with the Development team for new features, changes and functionality releases
  • Manage the tests suites to ensure all tests are current and use established Validity and Reliability models to measure their effectiveness
  • Convert clients test content from a paper-based test to online
  • Innovate tell us what is missing from the system and what improvements could enhance its performance and work with the Development team to bring these ideas to life
  • To conceptualise new initiatives, own, drive and deliver approved quality and improvement projects

Desired qualifications

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English and maths).
