Administration Support Officer

DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
As a Customer Service Apprentice, you will be responsible for the administrative support of the department and the wider office functions of SMPC Swanley, this will include; post, reception and filing.
In conjunction with an NVQ Level 2 or 3. There is excellent career progression potential for the right person.
Dealing daily with all mail and special delivery postal needs both internally and externally, ensuring all deliveries and collections are made in a timely manner.
Directing calls via the Switchboard and Reception duties including greeting visitors
Care of meeting facilities, including the calendar, and providing refreshments
Responsible for ensuring that the franking machine has enough credit available
Ensuring the paper work in the department is filled correctly to maintain a robust audit trail.
Providing support to enable the completion of enquiries relating to any customer service matter.
Any other tasks as assigned by the Customer Service Team Leader as appropriate.
Starting salary of £10,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
(with an hour for lunch)

Secondary Education GCSE English and Maths 4 or above or equivalent
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.

Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
