You will be an organised and diligent all-rounder who is keen to learn. The role will be varied with a lot of scope for growth and personal development. Guided and mentored by our office manager, tutors and the management team, you will be pivotal in keeping the company running smoothly and efficiently.

Maintaining learner applications, employer records, arranging interviews and preparing files for interview and initial screening. This includes:
  • Database entry for new applications, creating files, updating database on progress of applications and follow-up of applications
  • Database entry for maintaining and updating employer database for applications received
  • Calling potential applicants for initial screening and booking screening interviews
  • Liaising with consultants and employers to book apprenticeship job interviews and follow up for feedback and outcomes

Maintaining class registers, work attendance records and feedback forms, this includes:
  • Sending reminders to learners for training
  • Distributing registers and feedback forms to tutors before class and collecting at the end and maintaining the filing system
  • Preparing monthly attendance records, sending them to learners and calling them to chase up unreturned attendance records and filing
  • Data entry into electronic database for Class attendance
  • Creating new application files, new Employer files, new apprenticeship enrolment files, and regularly updating and maintaining these
  • Carrying out general office support duties including making and receiving telephone calls, managing diaries, handling correspondence, creating documents, developing presentations, recording and updating databases
  • Perform other related duties as required during working hours

Desired qualifications

A minimum of 5 GSCEs (or equivalent qualifications) at grade C/4 or above including English and maths.

Future prospects

After the Apprentices have completed their programme of study, they will be given the opportunity to apply for a full-time position if there is a vacancy in the same company/other companies.
