Office Administrator (business administration Level NVQ2) required for a busy auction company you will be based in Northwich Cheshire.  We hold public auctions of collectibles in Altrincham & Sheffield, and run internet and mail bid auctions online and through the post.  Our operations are centralised in Rudheath, Northwich and run a small friendly team of administrators running all aspects of the business from mailshots of auction catalogues, website administration including scanning and admin of sales online, updating the website daily, Sage book-keeping (training provided), Telephone answering, mailing and despatch of successful client purchases, including parcels.  Candidate must be able to carry up to a 20kg box up one flight of stairs, to attend the auctions to help with viewing, invoicing, setup of the lots on auction day.

You must be reliable and prompt in your attendance, able to perform basic Maths, English and fully computer literate (training will be given). You must have a confident phone manner with the clients and be helpful and enthusiastic when dealing with clients and your work colleagues.

Working times are 9am til 5pm, Monday to Friday (7 hour day, one hour for lunch) and you must be able to attend our Sheffield auction which closes back at the office by 11pm one evening  per month. Transport provided.

This is a hugely varied role and would suit a person wanting to take Level 2 NVQ at Hartford College but not essential. Starting salary £13,500 pa.
