Key duties:
  • Working closely with the operations team to ensure all areas of the Food Safety System are constantly maintained
  • Creating standard operating procedures for production processes
  • Calculating nutritional information for customers using a software system
  • Carry out microbiology swabbing in the factory environment and prepare samples of finished products for testing
  • Supplier approval management
  • To ensure regular quality checks are carried out on CCP documentation
  • To provide technical administration support to the technical team
  • To liaise with suppliers with regards to complaints, quality and technical information

Desired qualifications

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English language at grade C or grade 4 or above
  • Plus minimum of 96 UCAS points from 3 A Levels or equivalent BTEC National Qualifications (excluding General Studies
  • One A level in a science or food technology is required
