This is a fantastic opportunity to join our finance team and work alongside the controlling and credit risk team. Within this role, you will support the month end closing process, create meaningful reporting for our local top management, get to know forecasting and planning and help answer ad-hoc questions of internal stakeholders based on your numerical analysis.

Role and responsibilities:
  • Support in the month-end closing process (e.g. preparation of journal entries, cost centre and general ledger analysis etc)
  • Standardise existing reporting and help creating new reports which are relevant and easy to understand
  • Assess credit worthiness of customers for leasing and sales in line with company policy
  • Assist with coordination of procedures in cases of customer administration/liquidation
  • Support in the forecast/planning process

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Controlling Manager.

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Experience with database reporting tools
  • SAP knowledge
  • Advanced Microsoft Word,PowerPoint andExcel skills would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience or knowledge of Finance
  • First experience in a Finance / analyst environment is preferred

  • Must have GCSEs grades 9-4/A-C in maths, English and one other subject
  • 3 A-Levels grades A-C in relevant areas
  • Degree candidates
  • Equivalent qualifications will be accepted
