What you will do in your working day

You will undertake a variety of casework & receive an individual training plan to ensure you are successful in your Apprenticeship. Caseload includes, Management of the Councils commercial property estate inc new lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, covenant variations and waivers, licences, easements encroachments & boundary disputes. Delivery of the Councils disposal programme inc sales by auction, private treaty, tender. Valuations of land & property, rating advice & liability management.

The training you will be getting

You will receive high quality training via a distance learning course provided by the University College of Estate Management and accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The Chartered Surveyor apprenticeship duration is 4.5 years and will include a BSc (Hons) Real Estate Management degree (RICS and CABE accredited). Successful completion of the end-point assessment leads to Chartered Membership of the RICS, entitling you to use the designation 'MRICS'.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

We would endevour to support into substantive Surveyor post although this can not be guaranteed.
