You will be working closely with our Web Development and Digital Marketing team members on real world projects, whilst being supported by our in-house developers to progress both your skills and career opportunities.

Over the course of your apprenticeship you'll have the chance to work with, and become proficient in:
  • PHP, WordPress, Laravel
  • HTML5 and Twig, CSS/SASS/LESS, JavaScript/jQuery
  • Frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, Pure CSS
  • MJML Email template development and testing
  • Wider Software Development practices like Debugging, Testing, Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns

Your duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to);
  • Learning the fundamentals of web development via a range of provided courses, self-learning with helpful guidance from the team, in addition to the apprenticeship training
  • Assisting in the creation of bespoke WordPress websites to reflect the tone and style of the client's brand
  • Working alongside skilled developers to analyse and identify client requirements andconverting them into meaningful outcomes
  • Assisting with technical reviews of websites, ensuring they meet all modern standards and function perfectly across all browsers and devices
  • Playing a role in the development lifecycle, from initial brief through to successful release and maintenance
  • Working directly with clients in person and by phone to ensure their project requirements are met and their products are supported
  • Working with the web development team to keep everyone up to date on the projects you're responsible for
