We seek a professional and dedicated individual with a desire for a career in finance within an apprenticeship finance pathway.

The overall job purpose or the job title of an 'Accounts Apprentice' is to provide a mixture of work-based and theoretical learning. This therefore aids your development as an advanced apprenticeship, giving you a great foundation of knowledge and skillset available.

Duties include:
  • You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Finance team
  • Assisting in the day to day financial activities such as data entry to month end management accounts and/or year-end financial statements
  • Apprentices may find themselves involved in regulatory financial requirements

This further prepares you towards your future job prospects in relation to your desired pathway. Provides support to internal and external customers and will work predominately as an accounts apprentice within the finance function of the organisation.

  • To be I.T. literate and familiar with Microsoft "Word", "Excel" or equivalent software

Future prospects

Progression in the Finance department teams.

Ishida Apprentices will have annual salary increases throughout their 4 year of the apprenticeship programme, as learning objectives are met. At the end of your successful completed apprenticeship programme it is planned that you will exit into that designated job role with the appropriate salary.
