What you will do in your working day
With support and under the guidance and direction of the line manager, the apprentice will develop and test application code to the appropriate standards and best practice guidelines. The apprentice will be expected to produce and maintain technical and operational documentation in support of the developed applications and to report regularly and clearly on the progress of projects
The training you will be getting
The Apprentice will undertake the Level 4 apprenticeship standard Software Developer in conjunction with Blackpool and The Fylde College. There will be a requirement to attend weekly taught sessions at the college campus.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
There is no guarantee of a position at the end of the apprenticeship but support will be given to look for and apply for suitable vacancies within the organisation.

A Level or equivalent Relevant ICT subject (Grade A-C) Essential
