The role will be based around supporting the Line Manager in their day to day duties and will include first line people and team management, production planning and organisation, equipment and tool checks, line improvements and working with other departments to ensure targets are met.

Candidates must be excellent team players with strong communication, IT skills and numeracy skills. You must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You must be adaptable, innovative and open to change.

We are looking for people with energy, initiative and a strong work ethic. You must be ambitious and willing to learn, with a high level of attention to detail.

Desired qualifications

The usual entry requirements for the course are GCSEs at grades C/4 or above(or equivalent) in mathematics and English Languageplus the following:
  • Equivalent of an honour's degree at 2:2 level or above (or equivalent) in any subject

  • Minimum of two years senior managerial/leadership experience (with approximately five years of work experience) and currently in a senior management and/or leadership role

Applicants who do not meet the above academic criteria but have sufficient relevant experience in the workplace will be considered on an individual basis. Although previous management/leadership experience is desirable, this can be at any level, we are really looking for the right candidate with the right attitude to succeed. You must also be prepared to complete a very demanding academic course and have the determination to see it through.
