Minimum of two A Levels or equivalent, at least one of these must be a science. Candidates with A levels or equivalent in physics and maths will be well suited to this role, or BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering.

- Ensuring there are sufficient stock of electronics and mechanical components, liaise with suppliers and complete orders
- Review design drawings, perform fault finding and repair on circuit boards
- Work with mechanical and electronics CAD systems
- Learn basic CNC machining steps and transfer drawings to machining files
- Learn and perform software installation and verification on various product lines
- Understand embedded system design, involving micro controllers, switching regulators, GHz communication networks and power electronics
- Participatein designing software for embedded micro controllers
- Participate in multilayer PCB design
- Participate in high speed PCB design
- Participate in FPGA based design
- Participate in imaging sensor design
- Participate in designing computer carrier boards, including display port, PCIe, USB3 and Gigabit Ethernet

- Exposure to CAD systems
- Good verbal communication skills
