You will address client concerns and make sure their needs are met on all levels. You will work with support engineers and other analyst teams to maintain smooth operations and stay on track with project timeline.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
  • Research on current cybersecurity products and standards
  • Evaluation of security tools/products that are in the current market
  • Practicalevaluation of tools in a lab environment
  • Writing evaluation reports on these products to present to Management
  • Developing Technical specification on Cyber security for procurement department
  • Establish a framework for control and access to security system
  • Provide technical support, learning resources and other valuable information to clients and project managers as needed
  • Develop the policies, methods and standards for determining physical and cloud security
  • Perform Penetration Test and patch remediation while eliminating server downtime.
  • Update and maintain old/new application software
  • Work with security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities
  • Run Log reports, identify and fix vulnerabilities, Investigate and document security breaches and other cyber security incidents
  • Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact
  • Perform regular backups for databases
  • Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management
  • Analyse the effectiveness of current security systems and make suggestions for improvement when necessary
  • Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs
  • Adhere to company and legal regulations regarding security concerns, compliance and safe work environment

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Project / Industrial Experience in information security or related field
  • Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
  • Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
