Where will you be based?
Working within our Water business unit, you will be based out of one of our offices in Nottingham. Our Head Office is just off Junction 28 of the M1 in Huthwaite (NG17 2HW) and our other office is based in Annesley just off Junction 27 of the M1 (NG15 0DR).
What will you be doing?
Following a programme of development through experience and training you will be responsible for the mechanical installation of industrial equipment. This includes plant and associated ancillary materials for water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping stations, chemical dosing systems and general industrial applications. There will be a requirement to attend both factory and site visits to obtain engineering information for reviewing site progress. Candidates will need to be a good communicator and have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
What we're looking for:
We are looking for someone who has a naturally inquisitive nature and is interested in understanding how things work. A keen willingness to learn and someone who is mechanically minded would be able to excel within this apprenticeship. Candidates will need to hold or have predicted GCSE (or equivalent) grades 4 (C) or above in English language, maths, science, and two others.
