Duties to include:
  • Build awesome products that solve our clients' problems
  • Discuss and debate user feedback and data insights
  • Learn and work with new technologies. E.g. React, Typescript, C# .NET Core 2.0, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Learn and experiment with new domains, new methodologies, the future of banking
  • Collaborate extensively with your colleagues - mentoring, being mentored, pairing
  • As a small team, help shape our environment - bring your own passions, ideas and fun to the team
  • Work closely with product and design to drive product delivery and client outcomes at speed

Desired qualifications

Level 3 qualification (BTEC, NVQ or equivalent).

Future prospects

After your Software Engineering apprenticeship, you can progress into a developer role (this includes web and app development). You'll have the skills to continue growing within a tech team, and have enough knowledge/experience to pick up new languages with ease. Software Engineering Level 4 will also provide a good foundation for transitioning into data science.
