Office Administrator Apprentice
Share the Care provides Community Care with offices based in Sheerness, Isle of Sheppey.
We provide personal care to our clients, within their own homes for them to retain as much independence as possible.
DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
We are looking for an enthusiastic office administrator to join our small offices in Sheerness Town Centre. Duties to include general office duties, dealing with our customers enquiries and assisting with meetings from minutes.
The main duties within this role include:
General administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and photocopying, take minutes in meetings
Answer the telephone and deal with general enquiries
Liaise with clients/customers and staff while demonstrating a strong customer service skill
Setting up new client and staff files on the system and type care plans
Attend the bank and post office when required
Offer any assistance to other team members in busy periods
This role is a general all-round office trainee role that will expose the chosen candidate to all areas of the business, therefore flexibility is key.
The ideal candidate should be adaptable, and keen to get stuck in.
£117.00 per week ( based on £3.90 per hour)
30 hours per week
Monday – Friday
Good levels of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good analytical/problem solving skills
Good interpersonal skills
Experience of keeping accurate records.
Enthusiastic and self motivated
Strong client service ethos and desire to exceed client expectation
Positive can do attitude and able to use initiative
Displays accountability and responsibility
Three GCSE’s including Maths and English, or equivalent level of qualifications.
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
