Switchplane are looking for an apprentice web developer to join their growing business. The roles aren't just about knocking out websites. You will be working on large, custom built projects for high growth businesses such as:
  • Stock control systems
  • Tablet or mobile apps
  • Web page layout
  • Developing an ecommerce store
  • Building reports
  • Analysing user behaviour

If you have any knowledge and experience with any of the below we would love to hear from you:
  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • HTML5 / CSS3
  • JavaScript

Desired skills

A huge part of the apprenticeship is training you and supporting you todevelop the necessary skills to have a long and successful career as a web developer, but if you have knowledge of:
  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • HTML5 & CSS3
  • JavaScript

Personal qualities

Switchplane is a collaborative and supportive environment. Ideally, they are looking for a good communicator who is passionate about a career in web development and has shown themselves to be a self-starter by acquiring relevant skills to take into their apprenticeship.

Someone outgoing who will embrace the social side of the office such as burger and cake days.

Desired qualifications

  • At least 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent)including English and maths
  • Good grades in maths and/or IT as GCSE and A-Level (or equivalent)
