This is a new role in a vibrant finance team to help give accounting support to our business and to train and develop our future finance professionals - you!

The finance team of 32 incorporates the full range of traditional accounting roles and a mix of people. Apetito strive to make a real difference to our customers and the Finance team supports that by
  • Looking after the company's assets - that's our money and the risks we take with it
  • Using technology - making things easier and simpler and using information in our computer systems to help the company make decisions
  • Delivering expert help - making it easier for the rest of the business to decide what to do and do it well
  • Being a great team - to help us deliver all of the above!

Apetito is a great company to work for, it has lots of different types of customers and the factory is right here in Trowbridge so we can see, smell and at lunchtime taste what we make. We also make food for some of the most vulnerable people in society so staff have the knowledge that they are an invaluable part to an organisation committed to making a real difference.

All our employees, as part of learning about the company in their first few weeks, spend time in different areas of the business such as helping in the factory, visiting customers with a delivery driver and visiting our giant freezer - our warehouse near Bristol where the temperature is minus 16 degrees!. This really helps the people that join finance see what the numbers actually mean and represent.
