DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
Assisting within the main school office and Bursary department.
Daily responsibilities will include data inputting, errands around school, first aid assistance, filing, answering the telephone and assisting with visitors and parent queries. The role and responsibilities with develop as the post continues. Candidate will be working under the supervision of the school secretary.

Data inputting.
Assisting with pupil, teachers and parent queries by phone, email and face to face.
1st point of contact for people visiting the school or contacting reception.
First aid training will be available.
Candidate will then assist with first aid administration to pupils and staff.
Detailed and accurate record keeping.
This is a new role within the school and responsibilities will develop as the post continues. Candidate will be working under the supervision of the school secretary.
WAGE
£4.50 per hour
HOURS
15am to 3.45pm Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours a week 1 hour lunch break unpaid (school lunch available) Although this is a school the post will be all year round 20 days holidays plus bank holidays

Good organisation skills
Good communication skill
Good ICT Skills Good written skills
Ability to prioritise workload
Able to work on their own or as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Maths and English skills – GCSE A-C preferred
TRAINING PROVIDED
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
