The right candidate will ideally drive or is local to the Burnley area.
- Learn & Support Internal IT Business Systems
- Provide first line support for IT Hardware & Software Issues
- Work with IT Support Companies to Resolve 2nd/3rd Line Issues
- Review & Write Systems Documentation
- Help Systems Manager with Business Wide IT Projects
- Configure & Install New Devices
- Train new users on the Business IT Systems and/or when New Devices/Systems are implemented
- Mentoring & Support provided as the role progresses
Requirements and prospects

- Ability to work alone & as part of a small Systems Department
- Ability to listen to problems & find solutions or refer them for further investigation
- Good Timekeeping & Flexibility with an open minded approach to work
- Confident individual who would be able to discuss problems with any employee within the business
- Good telephone manner & attention to detail for recording support issues
- Candidate looking for a long term career within IT Support, growing with the business & technology as it evolves
- Ideal candidate would have their own transport or ability to travel in the Padiham/Burnley area
- Knowledge of Windows 10, Office365, Chrome & Basic Network Infrastructure
Personal qualities
- Good Timekeeping & Flexibility with an open-minded approach to work
- Confident individual who would be able to discuss problems with any employee within the business
- Can work effectively in a team and on own initiative
Desired qualifications
- Maths, English and IT grade C/4 and above (or equivalent)
- Will have completed a Level 3 BTEC or equivalent IT qualification.
