Day to day duties will include:
  • First point of contact for support help desk
  • Logging and assigning support calls through our G2BMS ticket system/software
  • Assisting with 1st line support requests with a gradual build to 2nd line requests
  • Follow standard help desk procedures
  • Testing and fixing faulty equipment
  • Doing backup checks and fixes
  • Assisting with regular server maintenance, AV installs and disk space reviews

May lead to future employment and a career in IT Support on completion of the Apprenticeship.

Things to consider

The National Minimum Wage for an apprentice applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
