The role will include the following for our sport andfitness focused client base.

Duties to include:
  • The design and development of new websites usingWordpress
  • The on-going maintenance and improvement ofexisting Wordpress websites
  • Building HTML email templates for use withservices such as Mailchimp
  • Analytics of websites
  • Management of website hosting/domains/DNS You will develop the ability to play a key role inhelping shape our future digital work and as suchneed a proactive attitude to finding new solutions anda desire to take ownership and responsibility forprojects

Desired skills

  • An interest in coding and examples of extra-curricularweb work
  • High attention to detail with problem solving skills
  • Good organisation skills and a willingness to learn
  • The ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ambition, strong work ethic and open to new ideas
  • A knowledge of WordPress
  • An understanding of the principles of SEO


Personal qualities

  • You will develop the ability to play a key role in helping shape our future digital work and as such need a proactive attitude to finding new solutions and a desire to take ownership and responsibility for projects


Desired qualifications

  • GCSEs at grade 4 or above (C) and/or A levels (or equivalent) in computer science, IT or Software


Future prospects

  • The potential of a full time permanent role is available on successful completion of the apprenticeship for the right candidate
