Pragmatic are looking for an individual to join our development team. Pragmatic Digital works across web development, app development and marketing technology initiatives/campaigns for both clients and the agency itself. The candidate will be familiar with web standards and programming concepts.

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this role is to support the business in the delivery of technology related development projects which are customer focussed.

Primary Objectives of the Role:

Developers are responsible for building and developing a broad range of digital platforms to support design, planning, UX and UI.All development projects are user-centred in their design and implementation.

Main tasks, responsibilities and accountabilities:
  • Update and maintain a variety of web, mobile, eCRM & social applications
  • Help to troubleshoot technical problems in client CMS systems or other applications
  • Review site diagnostics and maintenance tasks
  • Create appropriate documentation for requirements, procedures, processes and revisions
  • Communicate any problem areas, expectations, and modifications to manager
  • Ensure that the high-quality bar established by the team lead is maintained
  • Help identify areas of risk to the team
  • Clearly articulate project scope and timelines to members of the team.
  • Stay on top of new technology and techniques to ensure we stay current and relevant
  • Using and maintaining an SVN/GIT repository to ensure continuity
  • Ensure that each project prioritises the user experience over the easiest programming route
