Our client is an FCA authorised and regulated firm to provide trade execution, clearing and advisory services focusing primarily on the commodities and foreign exchange sectors.

They are a Fortune 500 company, providing customers across the globe with services including execution and advisory services in commodities, capital markets, currencies and asset management.

This is an opportunity for someone new to the Finance industry to gain a solid foundation in Project Management. As an Associate PM, you will spend time focusing on the many aspects of project management to give you a broad appreciation and understanding of all of its varied aspects.


On a day-to-day basis this will mean working alongside the Head of Business Development. Under their direction and guidance, you will be asked to help with any number of activities that they themselves undertake, including but not limited to;
  • Stakeholder management to develop a stakeholder network to ensure effective communication and an engaged project community
  • Maintain governance standards across the Business Development project portfolio. Including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of project and programme deliverables.
  • Milestone management, scope management, resource forecasting; financial management; change management across the project portfolio
  • Working with the head of Business Development EMEA & Asia in relation to executing, planning and implementing new business opportunities resulting from an M&A.

Desired qualifications

To be an Associate Project Manager Apprentice, you will need 5 GCSEs (A* - C / 9 - 4) including maths and English.
