Main responsibitlies:
  • The candidate will be working within the IT department to enhance and extend our flagship product and/or the supporting infrastructure
  • You will be developing applications using a variety of technologies including c#, ASP, JavaScript, TSQL across a variety of Windows and Linux platforms
  • We are however specifically looking for someone with a keen interest in testing with a view to automate test plans against the flagship product

Desired qualifications

Essential:
  • GCSE English and Maths A*-C/4-9 or level 2 equivalents.

Desirable:
  • Desired: A-Level or equivalent e.g. BTEC in IT, Maths or Computing or a Level 3 IT Apprenticeship

Exposure to a wide variety of technologies and practices will allow any successful candidate to shape their future career within Ostara. The direction you take within Ostara be largely based on a combination of your abilities and interests. Possibilities include technical testing, SQL developer, back-end developer and mobile app developer. Things to consider

  • Employment would be subject to a DBS check
  • Once training is completed, on-call and shift work are likely to be required to progress to a more senior role
