Kent Adult Education provides an extensive programme of courses aiming to meet the varied needs and interests of Kent communities. This summary sets out the ways in which Kent Adult Education will deliver learning opportunities to fulfil the purpose and objectives described by the Government in New Challenges, New Chances (2011) and confirmed in SFA Funding Rules for the 2014-15 Community Budget.
Kent Adult Education will provide a programme of courses based on District Council areas which will:

DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as part of the Business Support Team providing a high level of customer service and accurate data administration to support Adult Skills training.
During your apprenticeship you will be trained on internal systems and develop a good working knowledge of Word & Excel. You will be supervised on a daily basis and gain an excellent knowledge of our programmes in order to support Managers, Tutors and Recruitment staff effectively.
The main duties for this position with include:
Open and distribute post and log as necessary.
Log Learning Agreements and Registers onto the Customer Relationship Management system and confirm with tutors via email.
Track receipt of documentation, chase as necessary and file in order to meet audit and funding requirements.
Enter/update Student information, learning aims, qualification and outcome data onto MIS system.
Process invoices via KCC iProc system for payment.
Input learner information on external LRS database to obtain students’ Unique Learner Numbers.
Mail merge and track student Non-Home learner information
Investigate, validate and monitor data utilising management information systems and documentation received.
This is not an exhaustive list and there may be additional opportunities for the right candidate.
0-4 months: £146 per week
5-8 months: £156 per week
9 months – completion: £167 per week
There will be increments available at specific stages of your apprenticeship providing targets are met.
Monday – Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and 8.30am – 4.00pm Friday.

Minimum of GCSE Grade D in English and Maths, or equivalent.
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
