Description of Vacancy
To work as part of a close knot team to support the Warehouse operations, to meet the company objectives which include the efficient running of the warehouse, distribution and packaging of goods. To manage the goods in/out process and monitor stock availability levels. The right candidate will also receive forklift training and certification.
Picking and packing orders
Processing return stock
Receiving in goods inclusive of unloading goods
Use of bar code scanners and relevant equipment
Booking goods into the computer system and adjustment of data
Load out of completed goods to specified courier networks
Stock checking and auditing
Forklift driving and safe use, (training will be provided)
All aspects of Health & Safety in the UK warehouse and office
Ensure all legislative paperwork and accreditation is completed
Learning about Thuasne’s products and keep up to date with changes
Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email and face to face when necessary.
Starting Salary £3.90 per hour.
£156.00 per week
Normal Working Hours – 09:00 to 18:00

Good Secondary education.
Maths and English GCSE 4 or above or equivalent functional skills
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.

Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
