Software development degree apprentice

You’ll also need to be creative and curious, flexible, willing to learn and a real self-starter. You’ll need to be able to work hard, using your own initiative and be driven to make the most of the opportunity.
About the role
As a Software Development Apprentice in Jisc, you will gain valuable work experience, qualifying with a degree at the end of your course.
The software industry is fast-moving and ever-evolving. At Jisc, you’ll have the opportunity to use and develop your skills working with the latest new and emerging technologies.
Some of the topics you will cover throughout the four-year course will include:
- Business information systems
- Data modelling and databases
- Digital technologies
- Information security
- IT law and ethics

This role will be based in Bristol.
Connecting with each other is a doddle, thanks to our technology, but meeting face to face is something we value and find time for when we can, so you may need to travel on occasion. Our main offices are in Bristol, Harwell, London and Manchester.
