On completion of the BSc, you will have a permanent position within the transport planning

Driving licence an advantage
- Site visits
- Site surveys
- Contribution to the preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
- Contribution to sustainable transport projects, including preparation of Travel Plans;
- Contribution to the preparation of Environmental Statements
- Use of junction modelling software including Junctions 9 (ARCADY and PICADY) and LINSIG
- Opportunity to undertake strategic and microsimulation network modelling using SATURN, VISSIM and PARAMICS
- Production of simple highway design drawings in CAD (Computer Aided Design) and using AutoTrack to test vehicle tracking
- Supporting the administration of projects

Desired qualifications
- Three A Levels (or equivalent) -Maths, Geography or Economics would be advantageous
- At least Grade 4 or C GCSE English and Grade 5 or C GCSE Maths (or equivalent)
