Duties will include:
  • Operating and setting of CNC and manual metal cutting machines
  • Quality control experience
  • Aspects of the production process including raw material preparation
  • Machine maintenance and finishing operations for despatch
  • Training on the above will include all aspects of Health & Safety to ensure we maintain our safe systems of work
  • Machining low quantities of precision components in stainless steel, brass and aluminium
  • Basic knowledge of all workshop equipment
  • Liaising with machine shop staff to ensure that products produced are to the specifications required
  • Ability to resolve queries and problems to best of knowledge before escalating up to next level
  • Ensure minimum occurrence of errors and provide workable solutions
  • Adhering to health and safety rules and procedures
  • Conducting assigned tasks in a controlled and safe manner, paying particular respect to colleagues andequipment
  • Present a positive attitude at all times and an adaptable approach to problems
