Apprentice Sales Administrator

DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
Eurobond Adhesives have been a leading organisation in their industry for over thirty years, and they are now looking for an apprentice to be a part of their success.
Starting in September 2019, the Apprentice Sales Administrator will benefit from joining a friendly and welcoming team who are dedicated to supporting and developing their staff. Your role will cover a wide range of administrative duties and provide you with a lot of useful experience that will support you throughout your career.

Tasks will include – but are not limited to – the following:
-Processing sales orders
– Liaising with customers and suppliers
– Processing invoices
– Various online tasks including E-Casting, blogging, and support with social media
– Supplying quotations
– Posting samples and brochures out to customers and representatives
– Supporting the administrative elements of credit control
– Issuing accounts statements
– Purchase ordering
– Filing duties
– Updating the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Database
– Light housekeeping tasks including making tea (everybody in the team takes a turn!)
37.5 working hours per week:
08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday (includes an hour unpaid for lunch)
08:30 – 16:30 Friday (30 minute lunch break)
£146.25 per week
The successful candidate should have good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. They should also be a strong verbal communicator.
We are looking for someone that is lively, ambitious, energetic, enthusiastic and wants to learn and master the many and varied responsibilities of a sales administrator
Due to flammable materials on site this role is NOT suited to smokers or those with respiratory (e.g. asthma) or skin conditions (e.g. eczema, psoriasis).
Maths – GCSE Grade D / 3 minimum
English – GCSE Grade C / 4 minimum
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
